A board meeting with a difference! Fen Paddle Company with Scudamore’s and the National Trust present a summer of firsts We’re offering a completely unique way to enjoy the Cam and Wicken Fen this summer and you’ll be amongst the first people ever to travel the waterways in this way. Standup Paddleboarding shares some skills associated with canoeing, kayaking, surfing and skateboarding. When you get on the board and start paddling for the first time, you will feel your core muscles working to maintain your balance. You could be working muscles your body may have switched off, so you will be toning and getting fitter and as you are standing up, you will get to explore and interact with everything around you. Generations can paddle together. I’ve taken children as young as 8 and people over the age of 65, so if you enjoy a challenge and have a sense of fun and adventure, you’ll be rewarded with some life-long memories and some unique photos for the album this year. Guided Tour Schedule: Mondays 2pm to 6.30pm and Fridays 10am to 6pm at Scudamore’s, Mill Lane, Cambridge Wednesdays 10am to 5.45pm at Wicken Fen Free Session Schedule: Mondays at Scudamore’s, Mill Lane, Cambridge from 6.30pm to 8pm Thursdays at The Cutter Inn, Ely from 6.30pm to 8.30pm Date of event: 20 Jul – 28 Aug
