Take a step back into the past

Visitors to Ely this Whitsun bank holiday can listen to tales of a Civil War soldier or chat to Mrs Cromwell’s servant to find out what her mistress has been up as the 17th Century returns to Ely

On Saturday 29 May from 2pm, the Oliver Cromwell House in Ely will be the place to be to see the Civil War period come alive with craft demonstrations, cookery lessons from the 1600s.
