Watch out bogus callers about

Residents in East Cambridgeshire are being warned to put the phone down on bogus callers offering Council Tax rebates.

 

The warning comes after a resident reported being offered a £900 Council Tax rebate if they sent the caller £90 in advance. A second caller pretended to be from a company called MSH and again offered a refund for an upfront payment.
