East Cambridgeshire District Council and Cambridgeshire Constabulary have been in discussions to jointly provide the CCTV service for Soham and Ely.

The two organisations in partnership with the City of Ely Council and Soham Town Council are working to base the system in Ely police station where a timetable will be established, whereby it is monitored by officers and fully trained volunteers.
