Don’t let mould dampen your home

It has come to that time of the year when people shut their windows and doors to keep the cold weather out but this reduction in natural ventilation can lead to a build up of condensation.
Condensation equals moisture and moisture equals damp, which if left unchecked can lead to black mould taking over walls and furniture warn Council officers.
The Domestic Team, Environmental Services Team at East Cambridgeshire District Council is reminding residents of the problems which condensation can cause in homes if it is left unchecked.
