It is a little known fact that Alpacas from the Andes love to eat apples so they are in for a rare treat this Saturday as the latest addition to the things to do at the tenth Apple Festival in Ely.
While they won’t be able to enter the longest apple peeling competition or identify apples from just looking at them, they will be providing a bit of adventure by allowing children to walk them around the Green.
