Wish it could be Christmas turkey everyday?

Anyone planning a lavish Christmas dinner this year can make sure their turkey, duck or goose is properly cooked by picking up a pop up turkey thermometer from their local butcher.

To help ensure everyone has a Christmas lunch to remember, East Cambridgeshire District Council has made the thermometers available to participating butchers throughout the district and is also giving out advice on how to defrost, cook and store a turkey to make sure that food poisoning doesn't spoil anyone’s Christmas.
