This month, East Cambridgeshire District Council will outline proposals to achieve financial savings of £2.6 million over the next four years.
The Council faces significant financial challenges after receiving a cut of 17.8 per cent in the next year in its main Government Grant then 11 per cent in the second year.
However it does propose to freeze its council tax rate for next year to help residents in the district who are already facing a tough financial climate.
