City centre car parks in Ely continue to be recognised for their high standards and their low level of crime after retaining their Park MarkŪ status.
Barton Road, Brays Lane, Forehill, Newnham Street, Ship Lane, St Mary’s Street and Angel Drove car parks have been awarded their Park MarkŪ status following an assessment by the Police.
The ‘Safer Parking Award Scheme Park Mark’ recognises car parks which have measures to deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour to reduce the fear of crime in parking areas.
