East Cambridgeshire – becoming the place to do business

New unemployment figures and news that the Ely area is to benefit from faster broadband continues to show East Cambridgeshire as the place firms are coming to do business.
Last week, official labour market statistics claimants for Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) have fallen to 922 – the lowest level since Dec 2008. With just 1.7 per cent of the population in East Cambridgeshire now claiming JSA, the district has third lowest rate in the region.
