Working to deliver future growth despite financial pressures

Members at East Cambridgeshire District Council have heard proposals to ensure that despite the financial pressures facing the authority, the district can continue to prepare for future growth.
As the Council works to find £2.6 million in savings having received cuts of 28 per cent for the next two years in its main Government Grant, the authority is using innovative ways to continue the Masterplan process and ensure communities benefit from developments in the area.
