East Cambridgeshire District Council has set its budget for 2011/12 to protect the core services which residents need and freeze its share of Council Tax for the year.
At a Full Council meeting last night, Councillors agreed a four year programme to save over £2.6 million as a result of the Government announcing cuts of nearly 29 per cent to the Council’s main Government Grant for the next two years.
