Plans for parking in East Cambridgeshire progress

Plans to introduce Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) in East Cambridgeshire have progressed.

Last week, Councillors unanimously supported plans to include the district in a formal application to the Department of Transport.

The application will be submitted by Cambridgeshire County Council, subject to the approval of their Cabinet to apply for the transfer of car parking enforcement powers from the Police Authority to County Highways.
