Communities north and south benefit from grant awards

A pavilion, a village hall and a day centre are just some of the schemes to have benefited from grants approved by East Cambridgeshire District Council this month totalling nearly £100,000.

At Community Services Committee, Councillors agreed funding for the following projects from the East Cambridgeshire Community Facilities (Section 106) Fund:

* Burwell Parish Council was awarded £70,000 towards a new roof and storage for Burwell Pavilion
