Flooding tackled in Littleport

The first stage of the work to tackle surface water flooding in Littleport has been completed to reduce the risk of flooding for local residents.

East Cambridgeshire District Council bid for £141,000 from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) last year to tackle flooding caused when the ground, and surface water drains reach capacity during periods of excessive rain..
