Residents in East Cambridgeshire are being warned to hang up on bogus callers offering Council Tax rebates.
The warning comes after a resident reported being offered a £7,000 Council Tax rebate but only if they paid the administration costs of £95. The resident ended up paying out more money after feeling pressurised by the caller.
