More can be done to encourage more people to make access easier to Ely Railway Station a study has revealed today (Tuesday 14 June).
Councillors at East Cambridgeshire District Council met today to discuss the conclusions of a study which looked at how to develop the station in the future.
The survey of users found that whilst 55 per cent of people who use the station walk or cycle, there is still a large proportion of people who would perceive driving a car as more convenient than travelling by rail.
