Youth Games brings Olympics to life

They jumped, they threw and they ran at last week’s East Cambridgeshire Youth Games as hundreds of children joined together for celebration of sport.

The games, which took place at Littleport Leisure Centre, was the biggest single youth sporting event to be held in the District this year.

The competitors, aged from seven to eleven years olds, came from schools from the north, south, east and west of the district to enter a whole range of activities including Quadkids (athletics), Dodgeball and Tag Rugby.
