Ely's Farmers’ Market is celebrating its birthday tomorrow (Saturday 23 July) with its award winning fare of fresh, quality local produce.

It is eleven years since the market launched as a monthly event in July 2000 with 21 stalls, and since then the Farmers’ Market has become an integral part of the city’s life.

The Market now has 25 stalls and takes place every second and fourth Saturday, with residents and visitors coming from all over the county – drawn by the fantastic products from meats and breads to vegetables, drinks and cakes.
