Shop fronts should not be taken for granted

Shop owners and businesses are being reminded that they must speak to the Planning Department should they decide to change their front of their premises.
The warning comes after a number of cases in recent months where the Council has had to take action after companies changed their shop fronts without planning permission in conservation areas.
