Plans to meet the needs of Gypsies and Travellers throughout the county have been supported by Councillors in East Cambridgeshire.
Members at the Development and Transport sub committee heard how a countywide strategy and action plan had been put together to address the identified inequalities which face Cambridgeshire’s largest ethnic minority.
The plan outlines how authorities and emergency services will better co-ordinate their work with the Gypsy and Traveller communities to ensure issues such health, education and planning are tackled
